Hi, I'm Laura! Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and founder of Cherrydale Pediatrics.
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University with specialized training in Pediatric Care, and I'm board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Virginia Board of Nursing with autonomous practice authority, I've spent over a decade providing expert care at leading children's hospitals across the nation, treating thousands of children from infancy through young adulthood.

Yes! As a board-certified nurse practitioner, I can diagnose conditions and prescribe medications including antibiotics when medically appropriate. I'll call or send prescriptions electronically to your preferred pharmacy.
Absolutely! I'm happy to coordinate care with your child's primary care provider and can send them detailed visit summaries with your permission.
